The Beginning

The Beginning of Lan-bridge

Lan-bridge was founded by Michael Zhu in Chengdu in 2000. What began as a specialized professional translation agency organically expanded into a global language-services group, serving clients across regions, industries, and increasingly complex multilingual scenarios.

The company’s story is also the story of how language work has changed. As translation moved from document delivery to system-based, data-driven, and AI-supported production, Lan-bridge continued to build the tools, models, and platforms needed to support that shift.
